ClickBecause Life is Sew Special: A Hand 4 Cindy and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance
More than 21,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year (source: American Cancer Society 2015 stats). About half are 63 years or older. But that’s not always the case.
In 2014, my dear friend, Cindy was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Cindy and I met in Girl Scouts and have been friends through high school, working at Burger King, and doing craft fairs before I partnered with Karl. And now, dealing with cancer, I’ve never seen Cindy more brave or determined. Inspired by her courage and strength, we've created sewing projects, "A Hand 4 Cindy," as our small way to show our support and encouragment.
A portion of every sewing project sold will support Cindy and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance to find a cure for this deadly disease. Click here to see samples of the sewing projects available.
Much love and mahalo, Terri and Karl
