idkwhat2wear crosses the Pacific Ocean! A chance meeting in Okinawa this summer led to media attention in a local Japanese newspaper. When Karl & Garrin Miyashiro met the principal of a special needs school in the hotel lobby in Okinawa, they were impressed with the children and their teachers. Upon their return to Hawaii, a box of idk shirts were mailed to the school for the children. The school staff were so grateful, they contacted the media and wrote this article about their chance encounter with the Miyashiro family from Hawaii. It made all of us at idk so proud to see the children wearing our designs.
